Job Summary
You will assist the Senior Therapist/Chiropractor by applying adjunct modalities and guiding patients through rehabilitation to improve musculoskeletal health and overall wellness.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate appointment schedules and manage patient flow to optimize clinic operations
- Respond promptly to patient enquiries and process bookings and payments accurately
- Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and supplies to ensure readiness for therapy sessions
- Administer adjunct therapeutic modalities as directed by the Chiropractor to support patient recovery
- Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises to enhance functional recovery and mobility
- Customize patient care plans based on assessments and monitor progress using electronic health records
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Fluent in English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with diverse patients
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and support patient engagement
- Exhibit fast learning ability with a positive attitude, being observant and detail-oriented in clinical tasks
- Hold a Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science or Biomedical Science from a Polytechnic institution
- Certified Massage Therapist with prior experience in healthcare or wellness settings
- Applicants with no prior experience or relevant qualifications may be considered.
Other Requirements
- Commitment to 6 months full-time on-the-job training is expected. This attachment is under the Mid-Career Pathways Program.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends to meet patient scheduling needs
- Applicant must be Singapore Citizen or PR, above 40 years old. (This is a requirement for the Mid-Career Pathways Program)
