Beacon House is a new residential rehabilitation service opening in Melton Mowbray, supporting people to overcome drug and alcohol addiction and build fulfilling lives in recovery.
We are seeking an inspiring and experienced Head of Therapy/ Lead Therapists to lead our therapeutic programme and help establish Beacon House as a centre of excellence for recovery-focused care.

As Head of Therapy, you will lead the therapeutic programme across the service, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred support throughout their recovery journey.
You will provide leadership and guidance to therapists, recovery practitioners and group facilitators while working closely with the Registered Manager and wider team to create a safe, empowering and recovery-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the therapeutic programme.
- Manage, supervise and support the therapy team.
- Deliver individual and group therapeutic interventions where appropriate.
- Develop and review therapeutic pathways and treatment plans.
- Ensure therapeutic interventions are evidence-based, person-centred and recovery-focused.
- Promote trauma-informed and psychologically informed approaches throughout the service.
- Monitor outcomes and contribute to continuous service improvement.
- Support the development of a positive therapeutic community culture.
- Build strong relationships with referral partners and external stakeholders.
- Champion recovery values across the service.

- A recognised qualification in counselling, psychotherapy, psychology, social work or a related discipline.
- Registration or accreditation with a recognised professional body where appropriate.
- Significant experience working within addiction recovery, residential rehabilitation, mental health or related support services.
- Experience managing, supervising or leading therapeutic teams.
- Strong understanding of addiction, recovery models and group work.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice.

The ideal candidate will be a registered healthcare professional with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) or an accredited psychotherapist with British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP), or UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). They will bring strong leadership capabilities to support and guide a diverse therapy team.
