Thermal Engineer
JOB SUMMARY
• To design new products or improve the existing one’s base on specific client's needs, complying the quality, time and cost targets, implementing the best compromise between market requirements, production and industrialization links.
• To develop offers for special products based on specific customers need complying the quality, time and cost targets, implementing the best compromise between market requirements, production and industrialization links;
• Work in cooperation with Marketing dpt on feasibility and quotation phases of Special units;
• Interface with other departments;
• Working with Application Engineer/SFA Manager and Chief HPAC R&D Engineer;
• Quality and environmental protection time and cost.
• Ensure that all the controls prescribed by International Trading are carried out
• Compliance Regulation for the legal trade of products (including HQ / SW), Liebert Services, Systems and Technologies
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• To design the product features, undertaking the direct responsibility of the choice and sizing of the main components;
• To analyze and check the technical problems featuring the products he is responsible for;
• To process and review the basic documentation for each product;
• To select the solutions and/or to size the main components required for offering special products.

• Evaluating the possible usage of obsolete parts in SFA projects and looking for alternative materials
• To quote the SFAs working in strong cooperation with other departments: Procurement, Planning and Suppliers.
• To calculate the costs of the designed solutions in cooperation with SFA manager;
• Participation in the final testing of new products, cooperation and solving SFA problems
• Selection of key components
• Ability to manage marketing requests and team work
• To work in accordance with ITC regulations;
• To ensure the compliance with the safety and quality norms in the competence area

• Solid line reporting to Engineering Manager Nove Mesto
INTERACTIONS:
• Team members
• Engineering, Procurement, Marketing, Sales and Production – Nove Mesto and Tognana
POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge of technical norms, company procedures and grounding of basic detailed lists
• Capacity of taking decisions as for solving problems
• Knowledge of refrigerant, hydraulic and mechanical components and, in general,
understanding of the construction principles of air conditioning units
• Knowledge of the management computer systems
• Knowledge of technical drawings
• Fluent speaking, reading, and writing in the English language
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required.)
• Basic knowledge of the refrigerating cycle thermo-dynamics, of the main principles of
thermal exchange and of fluid-dynamics of water and air;
• Knowledge of the adjustment and control principles of thermo-technical machines and
systems
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel;
• Basic knowledge of the electric components;
• Communication: Demonstrates good listening and communication skills (written and
verbal)
• Initiative: Works independently and is highly motivated to initiate and accept new
challenges.
• Professionalism: Exhibits appropriate attributes in all aspects of performance and

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in Engineering with Thermo-Technical specialization.
• In case of high school education degree, minimum 3 years of engineering experience in
air conditioning sector
The anticipated salary range for this role in the Nové Mesto nad Váhom locality is between
25 200€ to 31 500€ gross per year —salary ranges for other geographic localities may vary. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance and are role based. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role. Compensation ranges are determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including skills, experience, and job responsibilities. In addition to the salary listed above, a detailed overview of additional compensation, including bonuses and benefits, will be provided during the initial interview.
