THUMBNAIL DESIGNER

Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time

Salary: ₦100,000 – ₦300,000 per month (Based on Experience)
Performance Bonus: Up to ₦500,000+ per month based on results
Performance bonuses based on channel growth and thumbnail performance.

We are a fast-growing content and education company looking for a highly creative Thumbnail Designer who understands how to create thumbnails that drive clicks, increase CTR, and help videos go viral.

The ideal candidate understands viewer psychology, storytelling, curiosity gaps, and visual marketing. We are not looking for someone who simply creates beautiful designs—we are looking for someone who creates thumbnails that get clicked.

Responsibilities:
• Design high-converting YouTube thumbnails.
• Create thumbnails for long-form and short-form content.
• Work closely with the content and marketing teams to improve click-through rates.
• Research competitors and industry trends.
• Test and optimize thumbnail concepts.
• Deliver thumbnails within agreed deadlines.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines while maximizing performance.

Requirements:
• Proven experience designing YouTube thumbnails.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-performing thumbnail designs.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Canva, or similar design tools.
• Strong understanding of CTR, viewer psychology, and visual storytelling.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to create multiple thumbnail concepts when required.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with YouTube creators or media companies.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance designs.
• Understanding of YouTube analytics and thumbnail performance metrics.
• Graphic design or digital marketing background.

Performance Expectations:
• Design thumbnails that increase click-through rates and video performance.
• Consistently deliver high-quality work on schedule.
• Contribute directly to channel growth and audience engagement.
