Tile Setter

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Tile Setter to install tiles and related materials for residential, commercial, and renovation projects. The candidate should have experience in surface preparation, tile laying, and finishing works while maintaining high workmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measure and mark surfaces to be tiled according to drawings and specifications

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortar

• Cut and shape tiles using hand and power tools

• Lay tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces according to layout plans

• Ensure proper alignment, spacing, and leveling of tiles

• Apply grout and sealants, and clean finished surfaces

• Replace damaged tiles and carry out repair works when required

• Follow workplace safety practices and maintain tools and work areas properly

• Coordinate with supervisors and other construction workers to ensure timely completion of work

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a tile setter or similar role in construction or renovation projects

• Ability to read drawings and follow layout plans

• Skilled in tile cutting and installation techniques

• Physically fit and able to handle manual work

• Attention to detail and good workmanship standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential and commercial projects

• Basic knowledge of safety procedures on construction sites
