Tower Crane Operator (Saddle Jib)
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate the saddle jib tower crane safely and in a controlled manner in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures.
- Conduct daily pre-operation checks and routine inspections to ensure all equipment in safe working condition.
- Maintain accurate daily records of crane operations, inspections and maintenance activities for safety compliance.
- Work closely with lifting supervisors, signalmen and riggers to execute lifting operations safely and accurately.
- Comply strictly with all Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and site safety rules at all times.
- Ensure lifting activities are carried out strictly in accordance with approved method statements and lifting plans.
Job Requirements:
- Possess a valid Tower Crane Operator License issued by MOM
- Certified in Tower Crane (Saddle Jib) operation, and Building Construction Supervisor Safety Course (BCSS).
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a tower crane operator in the construction industry.
- Excellent knowledge of lifting plans, load charts and safety procedures.
- Must be willing to work on day and night shift on rotational basis
- Day shift: 8am to 8pm. Night shift: 8pm to 8am
- Physically fit and able to work at heights.
- Willing work in Tuas Area.
