What You Will Do:

  • Operate a tractor trailer in accordance with DOT Regulations, Company policy, and in accordance with established standards for excellent customer service on established daily route sheets, special orders, and regular work orders
  • Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the tractor and tanker.
  • Transports and offloads leachate at a regulated wastewater treatment plants
  • Coordinates regularly with the Operations Manager to ensure all loads are completed as well as communicate any questionable materials and special instructions
  • Obtain load weight tickets and sign for loads and maintains any related records required, i.e. driver’s log, route sheets, work orders, special request work, etc.
  • Cleans truck daily to ensure the vehicle meets company expectations, inclusive but not limited to the cab
  • Performs daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections as outlined in the pre and post trip vehicle condition report
    • Reports any maintenance issues on the vehicle condition report and reports it immediately to the route supervisor or operations manager
  • Immediately reports to the company and accident, traffic violation, or license suspension
