About this Unique role

As part of the Branch Staff team at Fire Artarmon, you’ll help engineers, project managers and other tradespeople access the products they need to maintain fire safety protection, as well as undertaking other tasks that keep customers happy and the branch running smoothly.

Working closely with experienced Branch Leaders, you'll gain hands-on exposure to all aspects of the business while developing the skills, knowledge and confidence to take on greater responsibilities. Your day-to-day

A typical day involves:

  • Providing customer service and information about products

  • Providing quotes both in person and over the phone

  • Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities

  • Maintaining a safe, organised, and welcoming branch environment

  • Make deliveries to customers using a company vehicle

  • Continue upskilling with tailored on the job training initiatives

  • Learning the operational and commercial skills that form the foundation of future leadership roles

We’d love to hear from you if you’re someone who:

  • Has previous experience in retail sales or customer service and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone

  • Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays and ensure information provided is accurate

  • Can use a computer and is happy to learn new systems

  • Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends

  • Wants to develop their career - either locally, or within our broader network
