Trader | Crypto

You will execute trading strategies and monitor positions across a 24/7 asset class while working scheduled 4-day shifts (Sun–Wed or Wed–Sat). You will reconcile trades with clearing and operations, troubleshoot production trading issues, and improve desk processes. You will build and maintain DevOps tooling for the production trading system including configuration management, process management, deployment, monitoring, and data collection and analysis. You will learn and apply quantitative trading concepts and exchange trading setups, own team-wide projects beyond daily coverage, and perform other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Execute trading strategies
• Monitor trading positions and reconcile trades with clearing and operations
• Build and maintain DevOps tooling for the production trading system including configuration management, process management, deployment, monitoring, and data collection
• Troubleshoot production trading issues and improve trading desk processes
• Own and take responsibility for team-wide projects beyond day-to-day trading coverage
• Learn and apply quantitative trading concepts and exchange trading setups
• Adapt to business priorities across lines of the business
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• At least 3+ years trading experience
• Interest in cryptocurrencies and understanding of currencies and exchanges preferred
• Comfortable with Python and able to write and understand simple to moderate scripts
• Familiarity with a Linux environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills
• Demonstrated discretion in decision making
• Aptitude for collaborative work
• Reliable and predictable availability
