With internal opportunities, we encourage our talents to expand their horizons, take on new challenges, and continuously develop within the company.Responsabilidades e atribuiçõesResponsibilities & Key DutiesThe Trader is responsible for leading Minerva’s commercial and trading operations in the region, driving revenue growth, and expanding market share through strategic sourcing and customer relationship management.Key responsibilities include:Developing and executing sales and trading strategies aligned with revenue and profitability targetsIdentifying new business opportunities and expanding presence in domestic and international meat marketsNegotiating purchase and sales contracts while managing trading risksManaging and growing key customer accounts, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term partnershipsMonitoring global meat market trends, pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and competitor activityProviding accurate sales forecasts and market intelligence to senior leadershipEnsuring compliance with international trade regulations and internal policiesCollaborating cross-functionally with logistics, operations, and marketing teamsRepresenting the company at trade shows and industry eventsWe expect candidates to bring proven experience in sales or trading, ideally within the meat or food products industry, with a strong understanding of international markets and supply chain dynamics.Requisitos e qualificaçõesRequirements & QualificationsEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field (preferred)Proven experience in sales and/or trading, preferably in the meat or food products sectorStrong knowledge of meat products, cuts, and the meat supply chainTechnical & Professional SkillsDeep understanding of international meat markets, trading practices, and logisticsStrong analytical and strategic thinking skills with solid risk management capabilitiesAbility to interpret market data and build sales forecastsExperience managing key accounts and negotiating contractsSoft SkillsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsStrong multitasking and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environmentSelf-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a teamAbility to thrive in a dynamic trading environmentDifferentialsExisting relationships within the food industrySpanish or English language skillsInformações adicionaisLocation & ScopeThis role is focused on the Northern Europe region, supporting and expanding our commercial presence across key markets in the area.Candidates are preferably based in Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, or Germany, or open to residing in one of these countries to ensure proximity to clients and strategic markets.
