Trading Analyst
Principal Accountabilities
- Computing estimated End of Day PnL and product repricing
- Managing daily risk analyst and sensitivities to different risk factors (Spot, Volatility, etc), non-official VaR and stress tests and pre-trade simulations.
- Developing and presenting ongoing/unique trade strategies, connecting market fundamentals with proprietary insights, utilizing advanced analytics in conjunction with supply and demand models.
- Providing economic analysis for opportunity evaluation and capture learnings from missed opportunities.
- Supporting derivatives trading and policy with analysis of new and existing usage of derivative instruments.
- Developing strong collaborative relationships with trader, both domestically and globally, in order to drive trade execution and value creation
- Acting as power-user of strategic tools that support trading activities: Data systems, bespoke analytical tools, Aspect & SAP
- Contributing to special projects, strategy studies, and market entries.
- Completing analysis and reporting for trading performance. Support annual plan development.
- Supporting Trading Management on ad-hoc business issues.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, economics, finance, business (or equivalent)
- Be interested in trading, supply chain optimization, and business strategy
- Have the ability to forecast and assess impact of business decisions
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with multi-national and cross-functional teams
- Be able to make recommendations based on analysis
- Confidence to question the status quo
- Must be capable of working with significant autonomy and ensuring analysis is focused on delivering practical business benefits
- Excellent verbal and communication skills.
