Traffic Controller (Pioneer | Up to $3800)

Working Hours (Rotating Shift):

Morning Shift:

Monday to Friday 7.30am – 3.30pm;

Saturday 7.30am till the task is completed for the day

Sunday: OFF

Afternoon Shift:

Monday to Friday 3.30pm till the task is completed for the day

Saturday: OFF

Sunday: 7.30am till the task is completed for the day

Primary Responsibilities

•  Ensuring smooth operation of deliveries
•  Responsible for total distribution of both inbound and outbound shipment to and from yards,
• warehouses or consigned destinations
•  Ensuring accuracy on job performance
•  Ensuring customers requirement are fulfilled
•  Ensuring proper documentation by drivers
•  Ensuring proper handling of cargoes by drivers to prevent damages
•  Ensuring fully compliance for Workplace Safety & Health requirement

Duties / Scope of Works

•  Manage and lead a team of prime mover drivers
•  Plan and set priorities for daily activities efficiently
•  Assign jobs to drivers through PSA Haulier Community System
•  Monitor and track jobs progress to ensure all assignments are delivered timely
•  Control and monitor closely with drivers on their movement through Matrix Net GPS Tracking System in real time
•  Communicate and handle drivers’ feedback and problems efficiently
•  Process and handle documentations through PSA Portnet System
•  Process depot booking through CDAS CMS online
•  Coordinate and communicate closely with customer service for all customer’s trucking
•  Communicate closely with Operation Asst Manager to improve and maximize company’s resources
•  Comply and meet the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 22301 for Integrated Management System.
•  Ensure achieve IMS Policy and IMS objectives.
•  Perform other duties as assigned by superior

Qualifications

•  Minimum GCE ‘O’ level or ‘A’ level
•  Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in logistics traffic control preferred
•  Proficient in English and Mandarin to liaise with internal and external customers
•  Able to work as a team player, pro-active, self-motivated and high sense of responsibility
•  Able to work independently with minimum supervision and detail in work
•  Able to work in fast-paced environment
•  Good planning and resources management
