Trailer Driver Trainer (Vizag)– heavy / commercial vehicle

The Driver Trainer is responsible for training, evaluating, and supporting commercial vehicle drivers to ensure safe driving practices, regulatory compliance, and efficient vehicle operations. The role includes hands\-on driver training, vehicle issue analysis, on\-road trials, and reporting training outcomes to management.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Roles & Responsibilities<\/b>
<\/div>
  • Conduct classroom and on\-road training for commercial and heavy vehicle drivers
    <\/li>
  • Accompany drivers when required to analyze driving behavior, operational issues, or vehicle\-related concerns
    <\/li>
  • Identify skill gaps and provide corrective and refresher training
    <\/li>
  • Conduct driving trials for new drivers and reassessment for existing drivers
    <\/li>
  • Take part in vehicle trials when drivers are unavailable or when vehicles are reported as not operational
    <\/li>
  • Analyze vehicle conditions and identify possible reasons for issues based on performance and driver feedback
    <\/li>
  • Support driver allocation by evaluating driver suitability for specific vehicles and assignments
    <\/li>
  • Handle situations where drivers are unwilling or unable to report for assigned work
    <\/li>
  • Ensure compliance with traffic rules, signaling standards, and company safety policies
    <\/li>
  • Maintain driver training records, evaluations, and compliance documentation
    <\/li>
  • Prepare and submit training, assessment, and issue\u2011analysis reports to management after completion

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Minimum 10 years of commercial / heavy vehicle driving and training experience
      <\/li>
    • Valid Heavy Motor Vehicle (HMV) License
      <\/li>
    • Experience with tractor trailers (Tata, Ashok Leyland, Volvo, etc.)
      <\/li>
    • Strong knowledge of road regulations, traffic signals, and safety standards
      <\/li>
    • Ability to identify driving and vehicle\u2011related issues through on\u2011road analysis
      <\/li>
    • Good communication, coordination, and problem\u2011solving skills
      <\/li>
    • Minimum Matric +2 qualification
      <\/li>
    • Languages: Telugu, Hindi, and Basic English \u2013 Mandatory
      <\/li><\/ul>
