Position Summary:
The Shop Technician supports the Shop Lead by performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks and equipment. This role is primarily hands-on and focuses on ensuring trucks are serviced efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on semi-trucks, trailers, and shop equipment.
- Assist with diagnostics and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
- Complete work orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and equipment failure.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and DOT regulations.
- Assist with parts installation and equipment testing after repairs.
- Help with inventory organization and tracking of tools and parts as needed.
