Trained Window Installer
Responsibilities
- Carry out window installation works in compliance with BCA Safety of Windows requirements.
- Take accurate on-site measurements prior to installation.
- Measure and cut materials precisely to fit specified window dimensions.
- Ensure correct alignment, sealing, and proper fitting of all installations.
- Inspect materials and tools before use to ensure safety and quality standards are met.
- Handle all tools, equipment, and materials in a safe and responsible manner.
- Report any defects, issues, or abnormalities encountered during installation.
- Remove existing windows and prepare surfaces for new installation works.
- Assist with site preparation, protection works, and post-installation housekeeping.
- Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and hygiene standards at all times.
- Perform additional installation or cleaning duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Have successfully completed a training course on ‘Safety of Windows’ conducted by HDB
- BCA-certified Trained Window Installer (TWI)
- Can start work immediately or at short notice.
- At least 12 months experience in carrying out installation and retrofitting of windows in a locally registered firm.
- Knowledge of various window types and installation methods.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Able to work independently as well as follow instructions effectively.
- Responsible, reliable, and demonstrate a positive working attitude.
