Traineeship
Role Description:
We are seeking a UI/UX Developer Intern with hands-on experience in React, Angular, or other modern frontend technologies and a strong interest in modern front-end development practices.
The ideal candidate combines design thinking with an eagerness to learn to build intuitive, responsive, and user-centric web applications. You will learn from and work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product owners to translate wireframes and mockups into functional, high-performance user interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining responsive web interfaces using React, Angular, or other modern frontend frameworks and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to transform concepts and wireframes into visually appealing, user-friendly applications.
• Help implement reusable UI components and maintain consistency across applications.
• Support efforts to optimize components for performance and cross-browser compatibility.
• Participate in usability testing, gather feedback, and iterate on design and functionality.
• Assist in integrating APIs and work closely with backend teams for smooth data flow.
• Help maintain UI/UX documentation, design systems, and component libraries.
• Follow accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design standards.
• Continuously learn and stay updated with emerging front-end technologies, frameworks, and design trends.
Skills and Qualification:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in frontend development through academic or personal projects.
• Working knowledge of React, Angular, or similar frontend frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript (preferred).
• Familiarity with UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and frontend-backend integration.
• Basic understanding of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and web accessibility standards.
• Exposure to Git / version control, and Agile / Scrum workflows.
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, or Material UI) is a plus.
• Strong eagerness to learn UX principles, user research, interaction design, and new technologies in a fast-paced team environment.
