Trainer (2nd Shift)
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and facilitates orientation and annual training using Alchemy SISTEM.
- Ensure all employees starting work have complete understanding of our processes, safety procedures, and food safety procedures.
- Administers orientation and onboarding program.
- Tracks progression of new hires during first 90 days and assist management in retention action plans.
- Communicates Company policies and procedures to employees.
- Assists with hands on training for all employee job duties.
- Maintains new hire paperwork, and tracks all training records.
- Gives all new hires a plant tour, assist with on the floor training, and maintain a continuous presence throughout the production areas.
- Ensure new hires have the Personal Protective Equipment necessary for their position and understand how to use PPE.
- Set up schedules for training times and complete all annual training by year- end each year.
- Correspond with all levels of management throughout the facility to ensure training plans are communicated and issues are addressed.
- Provides support to HR department as needed.
- May be required to work occasional Saturdays as needed.
Key Skills Required:
- Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
- 1 to 2 years of experience training others, or with public speaking required.
- Manufacturing or Food Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Professionalism in all aspects of work.
- Strong organizational skills required
