Responsibilities
Your Role:
As a Training Specialist, you will design, lead, and continuously improve training programs for new hires and existing production employees. You will facilitate leadership development initiatives across all levels of the organization and lead programs focused on employee engagement, retention, and career progression. In partnership with Human Resources and Production teams, you will align training efforts with hiring, staffing, and operational goals. This role plays a key part in developing production floor leaders, enhancing the new hire experience, and managing job level progression criteria.
You will have the opportunity to Make Great Things Happen!- Lead and facilitate comprehensive training programs for new hires, production employees, and emerging leaders.
- Ensure all employees are trained and remain compliant with safety policies, standards, and organizational expectations.
- Design, develop, and deliver leadership and skills based training aligned with operational and workforce needs.
- Partner cross functionally with Human Resources, Production Supervisors, and Leads to assess capability gaps and implement effective training solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in workforce capability through structured skills development and career progression programs.
- Support an inclusive, high performing workplace by mentoring employees and contributing to the organization’s mission, vision, and goals.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to support individual and team development.
- Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to create and deliver hands on, practical training content.
- Manage and maintain the skills development and bench strength programs for manufacturing teams, including quarterly skill reviews.
- Coordinate leadership training initiatives and readiness programs for new equipment and operational changes.
- Provide technical writing support for the creation and maintenance of SOPs and training documentation.
- Identify and coordinate grant funding opportunities to support training and workforce development initiatives.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Education or HR-related degree or 5+ years of a strong track record of designing and implementing leadership and technical training programs.
- Ability to evaluate culture, organizational capability and technical strength to deliver effective training and learning programs within a manufacturing environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to present effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Proficient with MS Office products.
