Based on-site in Hyderabad, India, this hands-on role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the end-to-end delivery of transition waves and knowledge transfer activities for the new Lonza Capability Centre (LCC). You will play a vital role in ensuring a structured migration of processes with business continuity at its core, contributing directly to the successful mobilization and ramp-up of the center.

This is an office‑first role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and team alignment, enabling us to deliver our best work. You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).

What you will do:

  • Drive Transition Execution: Support the execution of assigned transition waves and manage day-to-day site transition activities, maintaining dual runs to ensure seamless BAU operations.

  • Track Milestones & Risks: Monitor progress against transition milestones and maintain structured trackers for status, open actions, risks, issues, and dependencies.

  • Coordinate Knowledge Transfer: Assist in deploying knowledge capture methodologies and coordinate the preparation and validation of SOPs, process maps, and training materials with SMEs.

  • Manage Quality & Readiness: Monitor the quality of knowledge transfer sessions and ensure strict adherence to KT readiness and sign-off criteria before wave progression.

  • Ensure Operational Readiness: Support structured readiness assessments across people, process, technology, and controls to safeguard Day 1 operational readiness and service continuity.

  • Cross-Workstream Collaboration: Partner with HR and business stakeholders to track workforce inputs, monitor training progress, and escalate capacity gaps or attrition risks.

  • Provide Leadership Insights: Support LCC leadership with executive reporting, governance updates, and transition health insights to effectively guide course corrections.

What we are looking for:

  • Extensive Experience: 7+ years of experience in shared services, GCC environments, transition/operations roles, or transformation roles within enterprise or consulting firms.

  • Transition Expertise: Proven track record supporting GCC/SSC transitions, migrations, or operational readiness initiatives, preferably in India.

  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of GBS operating models and familiarity with India's GCC ecosystem.

  • Core Skills: Exceptional organizational and coordination skills, strong execution discipline, and the ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-workstream environments.

  • Education: Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Desirable Credentials: Relevant certifications in Project Management or operations are highly advantageous.

  • Communication & Context: Business fluency in English, with a plus for experience in life sciences/CDMO environments or working across global markets.
