Transition Resilience Analyst - alpha
Role and responsibilities
- Set the brief for assets, masterplans and portfolios, applying our transition framework to identify the most impactful interventions for each project
- Work with design teams through delivery, monitoring design progress against the transition brief and steering outcomes towards resilience and permanence
- Run scenario testing across climate, energy and social transitions, and translate findings into clear recommendations for clients and design teams
- Advise clients on insurance, procurement and planning requirements arising from the transition agenda
- Oversee data collection, analysis and consistent reporting across masterplans and portfolios for multi-asset owners
- Produce fee proposals and lead bid material for new commissions
- Mentor, supervise and develop the wider alpha team and junior specialists
- Represent alpha externally with clients, contractors and industry, and lead business development
Criteria
- A people person, comfortable in front of clients and stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A deep understanding of the financial drivers of a development
- Self-motivation and the ability to lead
Qualifications and Experience
- 15+ years’ experience delivering multiple developments as a core member of design teams
- A degree (or equivalent) in an appropriate discipline
- A qualified architect, chartered engineer or surveyor
- A track record of guiding projects towards resilient outcomes and designing for permanence
