TRANSPORTATION SPECIALIST

The primary purpose of this position is: an Air Reserve Technician (ART) that manages the day-to-day Aerial Port Squadron activities and serves as a senior representative in lieu of the unit commander. 1. Serves as a senior representative for the Air Transportation structure, management and day-to-day activities of the Aerial Port decision making processes concerning operation, contingency, exercise, and deployment planning. 2. Represents the Air Transportation function with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. 3. Manages organization readiness programs for assigned Unit Type Codes (UTCs), assists with planning for current and future taskings, and provides oversight of budget/financial issues. 4. Exercises supervisory and/or personnel management responsibilities less than 25% of the time for one or two subordinate personnel.
