Overview
Radiation Therapist needed for a travel assignment in the radiation oncology unit in the Saratoga Springs, NY area. Start date: July 20, 2026. Duration: Weeks. Weekly pay: $2,329–$2,361 per week. Shift: 5x8 Days. Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment in a hospital setting. This role requires a NY State license in Radiologic Technology to practice radiotherapy, ARRT certification, and BLS. You will use EPIC for charting and operate equipment such as TrueBeam, ARIA, and Identify, with floating within the hospital as needed. Onboarding includes completion of required modules prior to start, and flu vaccination is required with exemption options; COVID-19 vaccination is not required. The facility requires permanent NY licensing in hand prior to start (temporary licenses not accepted).

Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed radiotherapy to patients in the Radiation Oncology unit under physician supervision
- Prepare and position patients, manage immobilization and verification of treatment fields using TrueBeam, and coordinate with dosimetry for plan delivery
- Operate and document treatment delivery in EPIC; verify treatment setup and accuracy; maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, physicists, and nursing staff to ensure safe, effective patient care
- Float within the hospital as needed within scope of practice and skill set; participate in unit coverage and continuity of care
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and radiation safety protocols; report equipment concerns promptly
- Complete required onboarding and compliance modules prior to start

Requirements
- NY State license (permanent in hand) to practice radiotherapy; temporary licenses not accepted
- ARRT Certification
- NYS Radiation Technologist licensure – “in the Practice of Radiotherapy”
- BLS
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Radiation Therapy
- EPIC charting experience required
- Experience with TrueBeam, ARIA, and Identify preferred
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and float within the facility as needed
- On submission: NY State license, certifications, references; SSN and DOB; recent Nursys (where applicable)
