Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care across age groups (neonates to geriatrics) in a high-volume ED, including triage, initial assessment, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, IV therapies, vasopressors, blood products; manage airway and ventilatory support as needed
- Interpret dysrhythmias, monitor cardiac status, and respond to acute changes in patient condition
- Assist with procedures and complex interventions (central line and chest tube care, procedural sedation) and participate in STEMI/Stroke recognition and initial management
- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services, and Unit Secretaries; contribute to discharge planning and family education
- Document thoroughly in the electronic charting system (EPIC) and uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality-of-care standards

Requirements
- Active RN license (in good standing); state-specific requirements apply
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS/CPR, NIHSS, PALS (required); CPI and TNCC preferred
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience; travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Education: Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN/BSN acceptable)
- Ability to work in a high-volume ED environment and participate in routine floating within service lines as needed
- Willingness to comply with pre-employment processes and the specific rotation and scheduling requirements
