Travel Registered Nurse ER Job
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri. This ER RN role is a hospital-based, travel temporary assignment. Start date: 07/27/2026. Contract duration: weeks. Weekly pay: $1,658–$1,785 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 Days. The unit serves a combined adult/pediatric ED with a dedicated psych area and supports a wide age range from neonates through geriatrics.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct emergency nursing care to a mixed patient population (neonates through geriatrics) in a high-volume ED setting; perform triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications, initiate IV access, manage airway and ventilatory support as needed, interpret dysrhythmias, and coordinate rapid response to emergencies
- Collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services, and Unit Secretary to coordinate patient care and ensure timely communication
- Document thoroughly in the EPIC charting system; participate in care planning, patient and family education, and discharge planning; maintain safety and quality standards in stroke and STEMI protocols
- Support pediatrics and adult emergencies, including trauma, overdose, psychiatric crises, and cardiac events; assist with procedures as needed and ensure patient advocacy
Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri or eligible per state-specific rules; license in hand may be required for some states (per compliance notes)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS/CPR, NIHSS, PALS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience; travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted; locals within 75 miles not accepted

- Special requirements: Must be able to work in an ED environment; flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); on-site vaccination policies apply
