Registered Nurse, PCU (Progressive Care Unit) – Marysville, CA. Travel assignment starting 08/10/2026 for 8 weeks. Weekly pay range: $749-$772 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care for an assigned patient group during the designated night shift, using the nursing process and aligned with the medical plan of care, incorporating input from patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and the broader health care team; coordinate delivery of patient care across age groups as defined by the unit assignment.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning into the overall plan of care to support patient understanding and safe transition.
- Delegate appropriate aspects of care to other nursing staff based on competency and scope of practice; monitor and supervise delegated tasks.
- Maintain accurate documentation, adhere to care standards, patient safety protocols, and legal/regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligibility with standard licensure requirements for practice in the state)
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and participate in a 36-hour weekly schedule
- Competence to care for patients across age ranges per unit assignment (neonatal through geriatric as applicable)
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and collaboration with the health care team
- Ability to function effectively in an acute care setting and manage multiple priorities during a night shift
