Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care to adult nephrology telemetry patients (renal failure, unstable cardiac conditions) in a 27-bed unit.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms via telemetry, recognize dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate interventions.
- Administer medications and provide nursing care related to peritoneal dialysis (PD) as required.
- Collaborate with IV team, PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response, and Transport; participate in discharge planning.
- Document patient assessments, care plans, procedures, and progress in the EPIC charting system; maintain accurate and timely records.
- Maintain patient safety and adherence to unit protocols, including escalation of clinical concerns per policy.

Requirements
- Licenses: Active RN license in Missouri or pending license accepted for submittal.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and NIHSS required.
- Experience: Preferred 1–2 years of nursing experience; first-timers accepted; pending license accepted.
- Specialty/Unit: Ability to work in nephrology telemetry with adult patients; peritoneal dialysis care required.
- Scheduling: Weekend shifts required (2 shifts every other weekend); consistent night coverage.
- Local radius: No local candidates within 75 miles.
- Vaccines: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required.
- Education: Not specified beyond nursing licensure requirements.
