Treasury analyst
Position Overview
The Treasury Analyst is responsible for supporting core treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, and execution of daily transactional activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate and timely payment processing, maintaining optimal cash positions, and supporting the company’s overall financial stability.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, multinational environment, with strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Key Responsibilities
Treasury Operations & Payments
- Execute daily treasury transactions, including initiating and processing payments through various banking platforms
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization of all payment activities
- Process and manage treasury service requests, including positive pay, check stop payments, voids, and other bank-related maintenance transactions
- Maintain and monitor bank accounts, including balances and transactional activity
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate payment execution
Cash Management & Forecasting
- Prepare and update short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts
- Monitor daily liquidity positions and recommend funding actions
- Support intercompany funding activities and cash positioning across entities
- Assist in optimizing working capital and cash utilization
Banking & Reconciliations
- Assist accounting with daily and monthly reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies or exceptions in a timely manner
- Maintain banking records, signatories, and documentation
Reporting & Controls
- Prepare treasury reports, including cash positions, forecast variance analysis, and KPI tracking
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and audit requirements
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant documentation
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline treasury processes and improve efficiency
- Participate in system enhancements and treasury-related projects
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field - Experience:
- 3–6+ years of relevant treasury or cash management experience
- Hands-on experience with payment processing and banking platforms
- Experience with cash forecasting and liquidity management
- Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with ERP systems preferred
- Experience with banking portals and electronic payment systems
- Language Requirements:
- Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
- Ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders

- Experience working in a multinational or shared services environment

- Needs to be working 4 days at the office in Polanco. Mon-Thursday. Friday Remote
- Must be able to fluently speak and write English
