Who we’re looking for
The TFS Treasury Department is looking for a highly motivated and qualified Treasury Manager, ALM & Analytics.
The primary responsibility of this role is to lead and develop a high-performance team to manage financial market risks including interest rate, liquidity, basis and other market risks. The position will rotate between different Toyota entities such as Toyota Motor Credit Corporation, Toyota Financial Savings Bank, and/or other Americas Oceanic Region finance companies to have broad experience
Reporting to the National Manager, the person in this role will support the department's objective to manage the company’s financial market risks and fund transfer pricing for all Toyota financing company products.
What you’ll be doing
Manage the Asset Liability Management (ALM) risk management program using deep knowledge of financial and capital markets, products, macroeconomic trends, portfolio risk profile, senior management risk tolerance, and company profit objectives.
Oversee the ALM platform, including data integrity, reasonableness of output/results, and system-related contingency planning.
Develop sophisticated interest rate risk analyses, including Gap Analysis, Earnings at Risk, Economic Value of Equity, Monte Carlo simulations, and related reporting for TMCC, TFSB, other TFS entities, and parent company stakeholders.
Develop and maintain models and methodologies that support funding plan formulation, liquidity risk analytics, and cash flow modeling.
Use database and analytical tools to create real-time risk modeling and reporting.
Develop global liquidity stress analytics and scenarios aligned with rating agency guidance and internal policies to support strong balance sheet liquidity in normal and stressed market conditions.
Lead Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) modeling, analytics, and reporting for all TFS/TFSB products.
Develop best-practice guidance and frameworks for FTP methodology.
Communicate effectively and build relationships with global TFS entities and parent company stakeholders to support alignment and execution.
What you bring
Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance, Computer Science, Math or related field
4+ years of progressive experience in financial risk management, treasury, and financial modeling
Treasury, Asset Liability Management, FP&A, and/or capital markets experience
Experience in managing and executing sophisticated financial risk programs for a large top tier international financial institution by harnessing people, technology and bank relationship resources.
Proficiency in SQL, VBA, SAS, Python or other data analysis tools (yes/no & follow with branch question)
Expertise in in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint. (proficiency level – advanced)
Strong leadership presence with the ability to build senior management confidence, influence decisions, and add organizational value.
Strong quantitative, analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to build advanced financial models and translate insights into business impact.
Ability to travel up to 10% based on business needs
Added bonus if you have
Advanced degree (i.e. MBA, M.S Finance or Accounting, Financial Engineering or relative field)
CFA designation or comparable financial/risk management credential preferred
Supervisory/management experience with strong leadership and interpersonal skills to promote associate development and build bench strength.
Knowledge and expertise with Empyrean, Bancware and/or comparable economic and financial risk management platform, to support interest rate management, liquidity risk management, and financial planning and analysis.
Experience with Tableau, Power BI and/or other reporting tools.
