About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Treasury Specialist responsible for the day-to-day management of cash position, banking operations, collections, disbursements, and financial compliance. This role ensures all treasury transactions are processed accurately and on time, in accordance with Asian Eye Institute's internal controls and regulatory requirements. The Treasury Specialist works closely with the Billing, Accounting, and Operations Teams to support seamless financial operations.
I. Cash Management & Liquidity Monitoring
- Monitor daily cash position across all bank accounts and funds
- Prepare and submit accurate daily cash position reports
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analyses
- Identify cash surpluses or shortfalls and escalate to management as needed
- Ensure sufficient liquidity is maintained for day-to-day operational requirements
II. Banking Operations & Deposit Management
- Process and monitor all bank transactions including fund transfers and payments
- Coordinate with banks for account maintenance, concerns, and issue resolution
- Ensure timely deposit of daily cash and check collections within cut-off deadlines
- Maintain accurate records of all bank deposits and reconcile against internal reports
- Manage time deposits, placements, and rollover schedules in coordination with management
- Liaise with bank relationship managers for operational and documentation requirements
III. Disbursements, Petty Cash & Accounts Receivable Clearing
- Manage and replenish the petty cash fund with complete and proper documentation
- Review and process disbursement requests in accordance with company policy
- Ensure all disbursements are supported by valid and complete supporting documents
- Monitor and clear accounts receivable balances within the collection cycle
- Reconcile the AR ledger with actual collections and flag long-outstanding items
- Coordinate with the Billing Team to resolve AR discrepancies and variances
IV. Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
- Maintain organized and complete treasury records and transaction filing
- Ensure all treasury activities comply with internal financial controls and policies
- Prepare supporting documents for internal and external audit requirements
- Monitor and fulfill reportorial obligations to BIR, BSP, and other regulatory bodies
- Update and maintain treasury procedures and process documentation as needed
V. Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate with the Billing Team on collection status, AR clearing, and reconciliation
- Provide treasury data and reports to the Accounting Team as required
- Support the Operations Team in facilitating cash advance and fund requests
- Respond promptly to treasury-related queries from internal stakeholders
- Participate in finance process improvement initiatives as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
At least three (3) years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management, or general accounting
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/treasury systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or equivalent)
Strong knowledge of cash handling, bank reconciliation, and accounts receivable management
Familiarity with BIR and BSP regulatory reporting requirements is an advantage
High attention to detail with the ability to handle confidential financial information
Strong coordination and communication skills across departments
