TRU-Industrial Specialist
The Pittsburgh Paints Company is looking for a TRU-Industrial Specialist to drive profitable growth for the Industrial business unit. This role is pivotal in executing our industrial strategy and delivering value to both direct customers and dealer partners. You will report to the Vice President, Industrial and cover the market in Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Territory Business Planning Develop and implement a territory business plan focused on identifying target markets and driving industrial growth.
- Dealer Partner Development Work closely with existing and prospective dealer partners to establish strategic business plans that fuel new growth.
- AC Store & End User Engagement Strengthen relationships with AC Store teams and end user accounts to align with distributor goals and grow market share.
- Direct Account Management Manage the full sales cycle for direct accounts—from lead generation to close.
- Internal Collaboration Partner with AC Store Zone Managers and Regional Managers to align on industrial strategy and ensure a unified go-to-market approach.
- Product & Personal Development Stay current on industrial products and services. Invest in your growth through ongoing training and our Performance Learning Plan.
- Competitive Intelligence Monitor competitor activities and offerings to develop counter-strategies that maintain our market leadership.
- Industry Insight Stay informed about market trends and customer needs to adapt proactively and seize new opportunities.
- Mentorship & Team Development Support the development of Commercial Territory Managers by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 6–8 years of sales experience, preferably in Industrial Coatings
- Willingness to travel 50%–70% of the time across the assigned territory
