You’ll support a diverse fleet of equipment, including machines from CAT, Yale, Toyota, MecFor, Glama, and Hyster.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of engine-driven and DC electric-powered mobile equipment.
- Inspect, service, and repair major equipment systems, including engines, transmissions, differentials, brakes, steering, electric drive units and controls, hoists, hydrostatic drive systems, hydraulic components, air conditioning systems, and glass.
- Apply safe work practices at all times and support a strong safety-first culture across the shop and plant environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts through problem-solving, equipment reliability improvements, and participation in practices such as 5S, RCA, and LEAN.
- Maintain dependable attendance, work full shifts, and support overtime needs as required to meet operational demands.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- At least 5 years of journeyperson-level repair experience in one or more of the following equipment environments: industrial, construction, mining, agriculture, or heavy truck.
- Basic computer skills required.
- Willingness to work all shifts, including rotating schedules.
- Ability to successfully complete a two-phase hiring assessment process.
