Tunnel Engineer

Job Description

• To supervise and lead a team of workers on tunnelling activity including temporary and permanent structural tunnel work
• Ensure health and safety compliance on site and contribute to risk assessment specification document.
• Responsible for site inspection & defect rectification with QPS joint inspection.
• Coordination with site team and the client for launching of TBM's
• Preparing method statements, risk assessments, and safe work procedures
• Subcontractor coordination and logistics management
• Follow with LTA provision, Singapore Construction Code of Practice and safety prerequisites
• Maintaining adequate information and communication for the filed construction works
• Follow the project contract activities, analyze risk situation and take proactive control where required

Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 7 years of engineering experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in managing bored tunnelling E&M works of similar scale and complexity.
• Work with LTA project before.
