This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a UI Developer based in India.

Join a fast-growing SaaS and EdTech environment where you will play a key role in shaping intuitive, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces for a widely used digital library platform. In this role, you will design and develop UI components that power seamless access to digital content across academic and enterprise institutions. You will work closely with backend teams to integrate APIs and deliver consistent, cross-browser compatible experiences. The role is highly hands-on, combining development, problem-solving, and design sensibility to improve usability at scale. You will contribute to building modern, accessible web applications used by leading educational and research institutions. This position is ideal for a developer who enjoys working in a product-driven, fast-paced environment with high ownership and autonomy.

Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain responsive UI components for web applications, ensuring performance, usability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Create fast HTML/CSS/JavaScript proof-of-concepts and translate UI/UX requirements into functional interfaces.
  • Integrate frontend interfaces with backend services and APIs with minimal supervision.
  • Build reusable front-end components using AngularJS and/or React for scalable application development.
  • Ensure clean, maintainable code using modern styling frameworks such as Bootstrap, SASS, or LESS.
  • Collaborate with design and backend teams to ensure consistent user experience across platforms.
  • Troubleshoot UI issues, optimize performance, and improve overall frontend quality and responsiveness.

    • Requirements

    • 2–4 years of experience in UI development or frontend engineering roles.
    • Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, and Bootstrap.
    • Hands-on experience with AngularJS and/or React (mandatory).
    • Familiarity with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS and build tools like Grunt or Scout.
    • Exposure to design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, GIMP, Corel Draw, or Canva.
    • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
    • Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
