Role: UI Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Duration: Long term

Job Description:

The persons would be involved in designing, developing, configuring and maintaining web applications hosted as standalone applications or in a Portal environment. The desired candidate must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• Must have at least 5 years of programming experience with UI technologies

• Must have excellent communications

• Must be a team player

• Strong UI and Scripting experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript / JavaScript frameworks

• Understand the importance of User Interface and User experience from a Web perspective

• Hands-on experience writing UI Unit tests

• Understanding of Web technologies

• Experience with Agile Scrum methodologies

• Some Programming experience with JAVA technologies

• Basic SQL with Hands-on experience with any one RDBMS

• Have used JIRA / Wiki and other collaboration tools in a team environment

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration

• Knowledge of Code Quality Management tools

• Knowledge of SSO

• Understanding of Web/App Servers like Apache HTTPD and Apache Tomcat would be a plus

• Liferay portal experience would be a plus.
