Position Summary:
<\/div>
  • provide support to clients in accordance with\n their NDIS plan.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Assist\n clients with daily living activities, such as eating,\n dressing, bathing and grooming. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide transportation assistance to clients.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Provide respite care to clients and their\n families.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Keep accurate and\n up to date records or clients' care plans and\n progress. <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Communicate\n effectively with clients, their families, and other members\n of the care team.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Follow\n health and safety regulations to ensure the safety and\n well\-being of clients.<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay\n current with latest developments and best practices in the NDIS\n field. <\/span>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Can start this week! <\/li>
    • A minimum of high school or equivalent.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Certificate 3 or 4 in individual support\n or willing to work towards completion(highly\n regarded).<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Lived experience\n or paid experience working with people with disability.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Willing to work with clients across varying ages (both NDIS & Child Safety)<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • With open availability: Dayshift, Afternoon, Evening & Sleepover<\/li>
    • Strong\n understanding of the NDIS and its guidelines.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Understanding of health and safety\n regulations.<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work\n with a diverse client base, understanding the different\n support needs of clients based on their abilities, cultural\n backgrounds, and language requirements. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Basic care and first aid skills. <\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in microsoft\n office suite.<\/span>
