Position Summary<\/b>
<\/div>
The Support Worker will provide assistance to clients in\n accordance with their individual NDIS plans, promoting independence,\n safety, and overall well\-being.
<\/div>

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Provide support to Child Safety Clients
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Assist with daily living activities,\n including eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Provide transportation support to\n appointments and community activities
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain accurate and up\-to\-date records\n of client care plans and progress notes
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Communicate effectively with clients,\n families, and other members of the care team
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Adhere to all health and safety policies\n and procedures to ensure client well\-being
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Participate in ongoing professional\n development to remain current with NDIS best practices
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>
    • Minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent
      <\/span><\/li>
    • At least Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, Aged\n Care, or related field), or willingness to work towards completion\n (highly regarded)
      <\/li>
    • Lived experience and/or paid experience supporting people with disability (PLUS with Child Safety)
      <\/li>
    • Must be currently located in Australia<\/b> at the time of application
      <\/li>
    • Must hold valid work rights and lawful permission to live and work\n in Australia at the time of application (VISA sponsorship not available)
      <\/li>
    • Availability to work across day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers,\n and weekends
      <\/li>
    • Strong understanding of the NDIS and its Practice Standards
      <\/li>
    • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and duty of care obligations
      <\/li>
    • Ability to work with a diverse client base, demonstrating cultural\n awareness and sensitivity to varying abilities, backgrounds, and\n communication needs
      <\/li>
    • Basic care skills, including first aid (or willingness to obtain)
      <\/li>
    • Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft\n Office and basic digital systems
