Position Overview
Madera Community Hospital is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urologist to join our expanding specialty care team. This position offers the opportunity to build and grow a comprehensive urology service while serving a diverse and rapidly growing patient population. The ideal candidate will play a central role in improving access to specialty care throughout Madera County and surrounding rural communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality urologic care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Perform a full range of urologic procedures, diagnostics, and surgical interventions
- Collaborate with primary care providers, hospitalists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellent patient outcomes
- Participate in shared call coverage as needed
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement efforts and hospital initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology
- California medical license (or eligibility)
- Strong commitment to mission-driven, community-focused care
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Bilingual preferred
