We’re looking for a proactiveUS Tax Managerthat will lead our tax planning/reporting for our clients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical taxation, software systems, and Excel skills. This role is great for someone who has a strong sense of order and consistency.We require candidates to have at least 6 to 10 years of experience and preferably has an EA or CPA certification.Candidates who currently run their own practice and are looking for additional income are encouraged to apply!

We’re excited to have you join us! Here are some (but certainly not all) of the responsibilities for this position:

Responsibilities and Requirements:

    Review corporate and personal tax returns for completeness and accuracy

    Prepare complex corporate and individual tax returns

    Assisting with tax research and planning according to current tax impact of proposed company activities and transactions

    Assist tax partner with organization of tax flow

    Have experience in responding to notices from Federal, state and local tax authorities a plus

    Stays up to date with tax changes and industry trends.

    Experienced in C-Corp (1120), S-Corp (1120S), Partnership (1065) and individual tax returns with complex transactions.

    Has sound understanding of the tax code and technical aspect of tax preparation and compliance.

    Able to independently research and put together memos on various tax topics.

    Has great interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with clients to answer questions and collect necessary information for tax preparation requirements.

    Has experience in managing, reviewing and training tax staff, proactive in improving and streamlining our tax operations.

    Displays willingness to make decisions; exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decision

    Has strong bookkeeping experience

    EA/CPA a plus
