Utility Technician
- PURPOSE OF THE JOB
- The Utility Technician is a full-time position that involves a variety of functions consisting of but not limited to:
- Framing, roofing, siding, and window & door replacement/installation.
- Cabinetry and countertop replacement/installation.
- Drywall patch & repair, finish carpentry, and painting.
- General handyman repair/replacement of fixtures.
- Mitigation, restoration, and remediation of water damaged structures.
- Areas of responsibility include:
- Executing interior and exterior maintenance, repair, and improvement work orders.
- Proper coordination with Facilities teams for daily & weekly objectives.
- After hours on-call shift duty: Approximately one week every 2 months, including weekend and holiday coverage.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete reactive work orders for occupants in a timely manner. – 60%
- Complete preventative and/or improvement work orders as needed. – 25%
- Assist with the completion of specialty projects as needed. – 15%.
