Utility Worker
Key Responsibilities:
Sweep and mops floor once every hour as needed.
Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks or on the conveyor to dishwashing machine. Wash pots, pans and trays by hand.
Washes worktables, walls refrigerators, and meat blocks.
Removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers or areas.
Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or by use of hand truck.
Set up banquet tables when required.
Puts away all clean utensils; puts away & rotates stock in designated areas.
Other duties assigned.
Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment.
Strain/change all deep fry oil as required.
Clean and sanitize all food storage areas, walk in fridges, freezers, ovens, freestanding hot and cold boxes and dry storage areas.
Store all clean articles in the correct areas.
Polish chafing dishes for banquet, BBQ functions and prepare stations as required.
Ensure all access and traffic areas are clear and clean.
Keep all equipment in the food and beverage areas are in good condition. Report any breakdowns in equipment to management.
