Vehicle Network Architect (EEA)整车网络架构师(EEA)

Objective of job

The Vehicle Network Architect is responsible for defining, designing, and evolving the in-vehicle communication architecture to support next-generation electrical/electronic (E/E) systems. This role ensures scalable, secure, and high-performance data exchange across centralized computing platforms, zonal controllers, and Edge ECUs.

You will play a key role in enabling software-defined vehicle capabilities by designing robust networking solutions (e.g., Automotive Ethernet, CAN, SOME/IP) that meet performance, safety, and cybersecurity requirements across all vehicle domains.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define scalable and future-proof vehicle communication architecture across domains (ADAS, cockpit, body, powertrain, Chassis, etc.)
  • Design and optimize in-vehicle network topologies (centralized computing + zonal evolution, ring/star, hybrid architecture)
  • Lead transition toward Ethernet-based, zonal, and service-oriented architecture
  • Define standards, guidelines, and best practices for network design
  • Specify communication protocols and standards (CAN/CAN-FD, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, SOME/IP, DDS, T1S, RCP etc.)
  • Lead cross-domain architecture reviews and decision-making
  • Develop network performance strategies including bandwidth management, latency optimization, and QoS
  • Collaborate with system architects, software teams, and ECU suppliers to ensure seamless integration
  • Define diagnostics, OTA communication, and data logging strategies
  • Ensure compliance with functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (UNECE R155 / ISO 21434) requirements
  • Drive network simulation, validation, and verification strategies
  • Support issue analysis and troubleshooting for network-related problems in development and production
  • Contribute to long-term E/E architecture roadmap
