Verafin - Director - Project Management - Professional Services

We’re looking for a Director, Project Management to join our Professional Services organization, reporting to the Senior Director of Project Management.

In this role, you’ll lead a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering successful customer engagements across our Professional Services organization. You will help shape and evolve our project management practices, ensuring customers receive a consistent, high-quality experience while driving operational excellence and strong business outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture through coaching, feedback, and career development.

  • Drive consistent execution of project management practices across professional services engagements, ensuring successful customer outcomes and scalable delivery.

  • Partner cross-functionally to align priorities, improve processes, remove delivery barriers, and support strong project outcomes.

  • Oversee resource planning, project health, and operational performance, providing visibility into key risks, priorities, and opportunities for optimization.

  • Champion an exceptional customer experience by monitoring engagement outcomes, managing escalations, and driving continuous improvement across the customer journey.

What You’ll Bring

  • Project Management & Implementation Expertise: Proven experience leading project management, customer implementation, or delivery teams within a professional services organization.

  • Verafin Experience: 1+ years of experience supporting teams and customers working with Verafin solutions.

  • Leadership & Team Development: Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams while driving accountability, engagement, and results.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Focus: Skilled at partnering across departments, navigating customer escalations, and aligning stakeholders to achieve successful customer and business outcomes.

  • Communication & Problem Solving: Strong verbal and written communication skills with proactive problem-solving abilities and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

This position can be located in St. John’s or Toronto, and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days a week in office, subject to change), providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
