About Us

At The Gentle Vet, we have a special interest in chronic disease management and geriatric care. Alongside general practice cases, we see a large number of chronic, geriatric and palliative care patients.

Our caseload includes preventive medicine, challenging internal medicine cases, oncology cases, and soft tissue surgery. As a Fear Free-focused clinic, we use a combination of treats, gentle handling techniques and appropriate medications to help our more anxious patients feel safe and comfortable during their visits.

Our loyal and engaged clientele are highly invested in their pets' care and are receptive to thorough diagnostics, follow-up, and gold standard treatment recommendations.

Our hospital is fully equipped with:

• Full in-house IDEXX laboratory suite
• Digital radiography and dental radiography
• iM3 dental equipment
• Ultrasound
• Electrocautery
• Tonometry
• Separate dog and cat wards
• Dedicated surgical theatre

About You

We are looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about practicing good quality, evidence-based medicine and is able to work collaboratively within a supportive team.

We value individuals who can communicate diagnostic and treatment plans in a clear, empathetic, and easy-to-understand manner, helping clients feel informed and supported throughout their pet’s care. While we strive to practice high-quality, evidence-based medicine, we also believe in offering a spectrum of care tailored to each patient’s needs and the unique circumstances of their family.
