Vice President, Corporate Finance (Investment Banking)

Citizens Capital Markets & Advisory (“CCMA”) is currently seeking a Vice President, Corporate Finance candidate focused on the Industrials verticals, primarily focused on Aerospace, Defense & Government Services, and Engineering, Construction & Industrial Services. The ideal candidate possesses an established investment banking pedigree and skill set including capital structure advisory (debt & equity financing), strategic advisory (sell-side, buy-side, structured transactions) and other corporate finance and industry-specific financial analysis. You would serve as a key resource in client discussions and presentations, alongside Citizens product partners, while participating in the origination and execution of debt, equity and M&A transactions. Primary responsibilities include:
- Play a leadership role in transactions including mergers and acquisitions, syndicated loans, high yield, initial public offerings, and other capital markets activities within the Industrials sector
- Develop relevant and actionable strategic and financing ideas, create thematic pitch content and analyze relevant industry trends in the delivery of presentations to existing and prospective clients
- Help establish and cultivate long-term relationships with key decision makers at the C-suite level within middle market and mid-corporate companies and financial sponsors
- Prepare and present offering materials / CIMs / LPs to potential investors and rating agencies, negotiate critical structural elements and act as a quarterback in all phases of transaction execution with both clients and counterparties
- Attend industry conventions and conferences to bolster industry knowledge, establish new relationships and support existing client relationships
- Oversee financial modeling and due diligence activities that support analytical decision making
- Liaise with risk management teams to ensure that appropriate credit and market risks are identified and addressed
- Mentor and train analysts and associates
- Collaborate on cross-selling efforts with Citizens Commercial Bankers
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
- Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience in investment banking and / or capital markets
- Preference for industry knowledge and transaction experience within the broader Industrials sector
- Proven capital markets and M&A experience with strong capital structure acumen and credit knowledge
- 4 year degree from an accredited university; Master's degree preferred, but not required
- Series 79 & 63 licenses
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with clients and internal decision makers
- Very strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Ability to manage projects independently and assume a high level of responsibility
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40+
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday
