Team Overview

This role will lead investment research and strategy planning across specific sectors and regions, optimize portfolio risk-return profiles, orchestrate deal negotiations and transaction closings, and oversee post-investment monitoring and exit arrangements. It also requires ensuring investment activities remain compliant and risk-controllable, regularly reporting portfolio performance and potential risks to management, and bearing core responsibility for executing company strategy and driving asset appreciation.

Role Responsibilities

  • Lead investment research and detailed investment strategy planning in specific sectors and regions, aligned with company strategy and investment strategic planning.

  • Optimize portfolio strategy based on market trends and company objectives, ensuring controllable investment returns and risks.

  • Identify high-quality investment opportunities; lead industry research, target screening, due diligence, and valuation modeling.

  • Design deal structures, lead negotiations on investment terms and agreement signing, and drive transaction closing.

  • Manage post-investment activities, monitor the operational and financial performance of portfolio companies, and formulate and execute exit strategies.

  • Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements and company risk control standards.

  • Report to management regularly on portfolio performance and potential risks.

  • Role Qualifications

    1.Education & Qualifications

    Master's degree or above; majors in finance, economics, business administration, or STEM disciplines (e.g., hard tech, healthcare) are preferred.

    Holders of CFA, CPA, legal professional qualification, or similar certifications are preferred.

    2.Work Experience

    8+ years of experience in equity investment (PE/VC), M&A, or asset management, with at least 3 years of team management experience.

    Led 5+ end-to-end investment deals with successful exits (IPO/M&A/share transfer).

    Possess deep industry resources and judgment in specific sectors.

    3.Core Competencies

    Professional expertise: Proficient in financial modeling, industry analysis, legal due diligence, and deal structuring.

    Business acumen: Keen insight into market trends, technological shifts, and policy developments.

    Leadership: Capable of cross-functional collaboration, with the ability to effectively motivate teams and perform under pressure.

    Resource integration: Extensive deal sourcing channels, networks of industry experts, and institutional partnerships.

    4.Soft Skills

    Results-oriented, with strong stress tolerance and the ability to solve complex problems.

    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate internal and external stakeholders.
