Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Full Stack Engineer to join our Global Payment & Trade team. This role is located in Pune.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance full stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices architectures
• Develop responsive, user-friendly web interfaces using Angular and modern frontend frameworks
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices
• Design and deploy applications in either BNY private cloud or public cloud

• Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment

• Optimize application performance and scalability in cloud environments

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Backend: 7+ years of Java development experience with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, and Spring Security

• Frontend: 4+ years of Angular development, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design

• Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) OR private cloud

• Databases: Proficiency in relational databases e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle

• Microservices architecture and design patterns

• Containerization e.g. Docker, Kubernetes

• Message queuing systems e.g. Kafka, RabbitMQ

• Unit testing frameworks e.g. JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma

• Agile/Scrum methodologies

• API Development: Strong experience building and consuming RESTful APIs

• Version Control: Git, GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket

• Build Tools: Maven, Gradle, npm, webpack
