Vice President, Workplace Technology Services (Taiwan)
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of VP, Workplace Technology Services to provide delivery and support for End User Workplace Technology at Taiwan (Taipei) branch.
The candidate will be responsible for adding value to the development, support, processes, buildings, client interaction & experience products and services associated with workplace related technologies.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Deliver onsite support services aligned with OLA/SLA requirements for workplace technology environments.
- Maintain comprehensive expertise in current workplace technologies available in the market.
- Cultivate and sustain productive relationships with business units, serving as an escalation point for local delivery and support of technology services.
- Ensure strict adherence to governance policies and effectively manage risk to meet or exceed both internal and external audit standards.
- Provide end-user support across all business areas, including trading and front office personnel, to ensure an excellent technology experience.
- Complete compliance and administrative tasks promptly and accurately.
- Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement by proactively recommending enhancements.
- Support technology requirements for locally organized events through active collaboration with event organizers and regional teams.
- Proactively identify technology risks and address them through structured delivery plans in coordination with regional service owners.
- Provide essential support for ongoing technology projects and initiatives, such as office relocations and others.
- Deliver onsite technology services for end-users related to hardware imaging, deployment, maintenance, software installation, and support, ensuring compliance with SLA commitments.
- Respond to technology support needs during incident management, including impact analysis, end-user engagement, and on-call support.
- Update and maintain the knowledge base with detailed root cause analyses and mitigation strategies for common issues.
- Provide dedicated support to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Support room video conferencing systems, client meetings, and large-scale business events.
- Provide smart-hands support (primarily on weekends) for infrastructure services such as network and server maintenance, with flexibility for early morning and weekend scheduling as needed.
- Oversee technology support for employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including technology orientation.
- Liaise with technology vendors for support and assistance with production applications, hardware, and customer-specific operations.
- Administer and organize support processes and procedures, with a focus on asset movement, inventory management, and regular asset attestations.
- Collaborate with global peers to identify and implement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.
- Maintain equipment that is off-network according to established standard operating procedures.
- Contribute proactively to the achievement of team objectives.
