Video Editor
<\/span>The Video Editor will be responsible for editing teasers, trailers, full\-length films, Instagram reels, and other media deliverables as per the defined timelines and creative brief. The role requires strong storytelling skills, technical proficiency in editing software, and a sharp eye for detail. Editors must follow LIVXS\u2019s workflow protocols and collaborate with the post\-production and creative teams to ensure timely and high\-quality outputs.<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> <\/span> 1. <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>Editing & Deliverables<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> <\/span> Edit cinematic wedding teasers, trailers, and long\-format videos as per SOP timelines<\/span><\/span><\/span> Create reels and short\-form content (3\u20135 per project) optimised for social media<\/span><\/span><\/span> Sync audio, color\-correct footage, apply LUTs, transitions, and sound design as required<\/span><\/span><\/span> Follow project brief and brand tone across every edit \u2014 revisions as per internal and client feedback.<\/span><\/span><\/span> Deliver final files in required formats (1080p, 4K, vertical etc.)<\/span><\/span><\/span> 2. <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>Workflow & File Management<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> <\/span> Follow file naming conventions and maintain folder hierarchy in Google Drive/WorkDrive<\/span><\/span><\/span> Work on labelled footage only \u2014 as organized by data team<\/span><\/span><\/span> Upload first cuts to Frame.io or Drive for internal reviews<\/span><\/span><\/span> Maintain edit tracker and update status (Pending, Review, Final, etc.) in Notion or ClickUp<\/span><\/span><\/span> 3. <\/span><\/span><\/b><\/span>Team Collaboration<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> <\/span> Work closely with the Creative Director for feedback and revisions<\/span><\/span><\/span> Collaborate with Reels Editors, Photo Editors, and the Album team for package consistency<\/span><\/span><\/span> Be part of weekly post\-production huddles to review queues, blockers, and deadlines<\/span><\/span><\/span> Key Skills Required<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve (or Final Cut Pro if needed)<\/span><\/span><\/span> Strong sense of rhythm, storytelling, and pacing \u2014 especially in cinematic wedding edits<\/span><\/span><\/span> Understanding of frame rates, codecs, proxies, and output formats<\/span><\/span><\/span> Familiarity with LUTs, transitions, basic After Effects (preferred)<\/span><\/span><\/span> Comfortable working in a deadline\-driven and fast\-paced workflow<\/span><\/span><\/span> Qualifications Preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span> <\/span> 1\u20133 years of experience in wedding films, event edits, or branded video content<\/span><\/span><\/span> Degree or diploma in filmmaking, media production, or a related field is preferred<\/span><\/span><\/span> Previous experience with Frame.io, Notion, and Google Drive\-based collaboration<\/span><\/span><\/span> Portfolio of past edits (teasers, trailers, reels) will be required during the hiring process<\/span><\/span><\/span>
