  • Create instructional videos in Canva using\n scripts provided by other SmartStart team members (usually in the\n EL&LD team).<\/span>

  • In some cases, write scripts and create\n videos based on briefs provided by other SmartStart team members (usually\n in the EL&LD team).<\/span>

  • Create simple graphics to use in online\n courses (and possibly WhatsApp communications with SmartStarters)<\/span>

    Early\nlearning materials design<\/span><\/b>
    <\/p>

    • Review early learning materials designed by\n the Head of EL & LD or other team members<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Support the design of early learning\n materials such as the SmartStart curriculum, Small & Large Group\n Activity book and home learning activities & storybooks<\/span>
      <\/li>
    • Participate in the review and design process\n of EL materials, led by the Head of EL & LD<\/span>
      <\/li><\/ul>

      Basic\ngraphic design<\/span><\/b>
      <\/p>

      • Make text changes and small edits to\n graphics in InDesign documents<\/span>
        <\/li>
      • Do basic graphic design work that does not\n require the skills and experience of a professional graphic designer<\/span>

      • Do layout work of documents and\n presentations in Word and Powerpoint<\/span>
        <\/li><\/ul>

        • Create quizzes and simple activities in\n Moodle<\/span>

        • Upload images and video content to Moodle<\/span>

          • 2\-5 year\u2019s\n experience in education or non\-profit sectors<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • At least 1\-2 year\u2019s\n experience in the ECD sector<\/span>
            <\/li>
          • At least 1\-2 year\u2019s\n experience in video creation and editing or learning design<\/span>
            <\/li><\/ul>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong visual design skills\n(i.e. be able to envision and create professional looking and visually\ninspiring images and videos)<\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Video creation and editing\nskills<\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Strong skills in Canva and\nbasic skills in InDesign<\/span>
            <\/p>

            · <\/span><\/span><\/span>Learning design skills \u2013 the\nability to design simple and engaging instructional content (for online and\nprint materials)<\/span>
