Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced VMware Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, NSX, and vSAN.

This role is focused primarily on Day 0 (Discovery & Assessment) and Day 1 (Build, Deployment & Implementation) activities. Candidates with only Day 2 Operations/Support experience will not be considered.

The ideal candidate should be capable of understanding customer design requirements, deploying VMware infrastructure from scratch, configuring core VMware services, and supporting infrastructure transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Day 0 Discovery and Infrastructure Assessment activities.
• Deploy and configure VMware ESXi hosts and vCenter Server.
• Implement VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments.
• Configure vSphere HA, DRS, vMotion, Storage, and Networking.
• Configure and validate vSAN clusters.
• Configure certificates and security requirements.
• Perform upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management activities.
• Implement virtual networking components and storage integrations.
• Troubleshoot implementation-related issues during project execution.
• Collaborate with architects and customers to understand design requirements.
• Create implementation and deployment documentation.
